Amazing Embroidered Shearling YAQUB Coat - Iconic 60s Boho Style.

WELL CONSTRUCTED AND MADE BY ONE OF MY FAVORITE COAT DESIGNERS, YAQUB. Yaqub was sold at high end Stores like Saks Fifth Ave, I Magnin. This style and Brand are very collectible. And becoming harder to find in good condition.

Made in Turkey and 100% Sheepskin Tag is intact.
Marked a Size S but this is vintage size. So please go by measurements for best fit.

Fur lined - soft Shearling Fur is sheared for embroidery. Coat is lightweight and not bulky. This Wool is lightweight and very warm. The most expensive of sheepskin hides.

A QUICK LESSON:
Brand is Yaqub
These are hard to find. Especially in good Condition. Not dry rotted. This is a fur pelt and if stored properly will last a lifetime.
Most of these afghan coats were NOT stored properly. The curly goat fur trim is very susceptible to dry rot. If the fur is stiff, has cracked, is torn, shedding and thinning that is dry rot.
These coats are an investment. Buy from a reputable seller who has them cleaned. Because a furrier will not clean a dry rotted coat. Because it will fall apart in the process.

CONDITION: Has been Professionally Dry Cleaned and inspected by Furrier.
Amazing shape for age because it was stored properly.
Fur is clean and soft not stiff or itchy.
Embroidery is beautiful.
Yes has signs of wear. In normal places, like top of the pockets and back of sleeves. Worn embroidery purple flower under the sleeves on side from rubbing. Is hidden under sleeve you don't see it. See photos.

Some marks on skin right chest area are scars on the skin.
Fur trim is not cracked.
No shedding.
No dry or stiff areas.

MEASUREMENTS : Mannequin is 34-26-35 for reference.
