Soles look like wood but are NOT rather a Sbicca patented Polystyrene Injected - Composite Platform & heels. This finely molded units spare the trees. And keep the boot lightweight. When so many of the platforms from the 70s were wood.

My Shoe Cobbler cleaned/sanitized boots. Conditioned and Polished the leather.
Minor scuffing on the left toes
No tears in the leather.
Light signs of wear to soles and heels. Lots of life left.
Zippers work with ease.
Gusset is not over stretched.
No repairs
No odors or smells.
These boots are ready for walking.
